Storage can be an attractive low-impact neighbor.

Approvals for self-storage projects can be especially hard to attain, due to a general stigma toward the concept—particularly in or near downtown historic districts. Styx Companies has the connections, knowledge and resolve to push forward and get storage projects done in areas that normally would be non-starters. We bring value to land development

A long-game approach to resolving traffic, zoning and annexation issues, with remarkable results.

The challenge: a high-value piece of land across from one of S.C.’s top-ranked high schools seemed impossible to develop due to severe traffic repercussions, among other concerns. The solution: Styx Companies already had identified this as one of the most underserved sub-markets in the region for multifamily development. Styx spent two years working with the town and county to develop a TIF district using the basis of the development for funding an interstate flyover to resolve traffic issues and move the project forward.
